DJ Christos Deep House Artist: DJ Christos, born Christos Katsaitis, is a South African deejay and house producer recognized as “The Godfather of House” for his substantial contributions to the South African dance music scene. He started spinning records at the age of thirteen and has since performed in some of Gauteng’s most iconic clubs, including Fourth World, Caesar’s Palace, and Arena.

DJ Christos has been noted for bridging racial lines throughout his career, even while segregation was still prevalent in South Africa. He has also established himself as one of the country’s longest-spinning and most prominent house producers/DJs.

Music

DJ Christos has also released singles, EPs, and DJ mixes, as well as albums such as “Wicked Sounds Volume 1,” “Spiritual Journey 2,” and “Inside Of Me 2.” He founded the South African Music Conference in 2004.

DJ Christos is an accomplished music producer and label owner. He co-founded the Kalawa label as well as Katsaitis Music, which has a stable of popular singers and deejays like Monique Bingham, Vinny Da Vinci, and Ralf GUM.

DJ Christos is married to Tebogo, and the couple runs a family restaurant in Midrand called Shaguma Café Restaurant. He also has three children, Taki, CJ, and Michail.
